With the recent news out of California, it’s helpful to remember that the insurance marketplace is ever changing. The willingness of insurance companies to write coverage does change from time to time. However, rarely does something happen with the significance of the largest insurance company in the world ceasing to write new business in the largest state in the Union.
Shafer Insurance is an independent insurance agent. What that means is that we are not held captive by a single insurance company. So if one insurance company’s attitude changes in regards to underwriting or claims service, we have the ability to find other solutions for our clients.
