Finance and Operations Analyst
The Finance and Operations Analyst will work as part of Shafer Accounting and Operations Team to handle accounting duties (including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger postings) as well as financial and operations reporting that provides insight into our areas of growth and financial stability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Posting of direct bill commission statements from insurance carriers
- Paying insurance carrier partners and performing the required agency bill reconciliations
- Paying vendors
- Creating and reviewing operational and sales reporting
- Running monthly financial income and expense reports
- Designing charts and graphs for operations and sales reporting
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Extensive abilities to perform functions, formulas, charts, and pivot tables in Microsoft Excel
- Insurance knowledge preferred but not required
